Fireface midi driver


















The Fireface UCX is a highly integrated pro audio solution in an ultra-compact format for studio and live recordings. It continues RME's long tradition of designing compact high-end interfaces, packing into a half-rack size unit what usually would be spread out over two or three 19 inch panels. The ARC USB is a USB MIDI remote control for the Fireface UFX II. Thanks to operating as a UAC 1 class device, it is natively compatible to Windows and Mac OS X. As soon as it is present in the operating system, TotaIMix FX will automatically detect the ARC USB, and communicate with it via simple MIDI remote commands to control the UFX II.  · since I disabled a audio device into the Audio devices Manager, I miss all my MIDI Input/Output devices in any DAW/Audio application, except Pro Tools PT 11 shows one of my devices, but the other is still missing. What I did until now: Deinstalled / reinstalled my MOTU Micro lite and Fireface UFX drtivers. Deinstalled / reinstalled Ableton Live.

For Matthias others, I just got my RME UFX updated to the latest driver, then set it up via Firewire to my iMac i7 running OS , just like 'idelgas' and I see the MIDI light blinking MIDI in MIDI out from MIDI 1's back connectors (I have my Roland V-Synth GT as the MIDI going into the RME the MIDI out is going into a Dave Smith Mopho), but there is MIDI NO control. Under Mac OS the Fireface's MIDI ports are class compliant, the operating system therefore automatically uses the included MIDI driver. RME has updated the macOS USB driver for following devices: Fireface UFX / UFX+ / UFX II / / UCX / UC / Babyface / Babyface Pro / MADIface USB. First download and install the right RME driver for you of the synths is required download and install the MOTU Express MIDI Interface driver.
